Prism Product

[E Ink technology is found in the Amazon Kindle]

Worked on a range of strategic design projects centered on E Ink’s Prism reflective, color-changing, architectural materials. By developing a clear understanding of stakeholders, brands, trends, and market dynamics, I contributed to the effort to create elegant, tangible product experience solutions while also incorporating customer feedback. I built models and exhibits that were shown at various trade shows over the course of my time there. Contributions detailed below.

Designed and manufactured flowers using Prism, acrylic, a metal flower. Depending on the animation, these could be used as aesthetic clocks.

Cooler/light state

cooler/dark state

Created long wrapping prototype using Prism with an overlay to show condensation in the light state.

This project required color matching iteration using large sized plotters.

Developed a stylus for use with magnetic writeable ink. Featuring two writing styles, the stylus can either provide a thinner legible line, or a thick line for shading.
